Help out a hometown girl!!!

Michele Lorito-Chase, known as @ghostexecutive on Twitter, has been selected as one of the top ten finalists in the Audi 2011 Twitter Contest.

Audi began the contest, by inviting contestants to tweet answers to the question: “How do you define progress?”

On February 8th, @ghostexecutive issued a single tweet and unknowingly entered a contest. Little did she know her tweet would be chosen and place her among the top ten finalists in a first of its kind competition.

Audi set out to find ten finalists among thousands of entries. The Tweets were to best describe what #ProgressIs.

The race to win $25,000 for charity began on February 14th and now Team Michele is busy Dialing For Dollars under the special code name of #OldPhone.

The contest ends Friday, February 18 at 11:59 PM and will be won by the number of points earned through Tweets, ReTweetsTwitPics, YouTube Videos, and Blogs. Blog posts are worth 10-points and can written by anyone - Hint, hint!

And remember, if you comment on anything more points are made!

Read what Michele’s community has to say about it!

That’s me holding the tweet that was entered into Audi’s #ProgressIs contest - It says, “When a good idea becomes a building block for a better one”. Four days later I decided to send it, not realizing I was entering a contest that landed me as one in ten national finalists competing for $25,000 to give to a charity of my choosing.

Could I Have This Dance
Anne Murray

I have a friend [actually several] who do karaoke. They’ve recently convinced me to actually get up to sing…in front of people…with a mic in my hands. This was no small feat, mind you. I’ve sung before - as a child in my church choir, 4-part harmony as a Sweet Adeline about 10 years ago. But being the perfectionist that I am and not having practiced, memorized and rehearsed, this just didn’t seem like fun!

But I was coerced gently and did it. After 2 so-so’s this song was suggested and fit my voice range better.

And then I grew to like it, and now I sing it to my hubby of 26 years when I sing.
